Our Daily Food is Our Most Consistent and Direct Connection with Mother Earth

We are the fabric of our food. The Earth provides our nourishment and it becomes our cells, our atoms–everything from our hair to our heart.

Our diet is the first and largest source of medicine.

As we eat well and in accordance to our body’s particular needs, it is the most consistent and reliable preventive medicine available to us. As we have become imbalanced, our bodies do us the amazing service of letting us know–through any number of ailments from digestive issues to headaches to fatigue to diseases. Changing the way we eat is the long game the body was designed for–as we begin to heal, food medicine is readily available and will take effect immediately. We literally change our constitution through the food we eat.

EarthHeart Healing is the regeneration of your mind, body, and spirit to thrive as the LifeForce you are designed to be!

We are complex creatures with layers of trauma, habit, and stuck energy that stagnates and stills us. Within the overall program of EarthHeart Healing, My Healing Body begins the process with what your body truly wants to eat to regenerate.

From there, you’ll experience trauma-release, movement practices, meditation, community support and many other types of healing that suit you and your journey.

What makes our approach to healing so different?

Randi Janelle has the ability to channel your optimal diet. She simply listens to what your body is asking to consume in order to rebuild you from the inside out. My Healing Body begins as a comprehensive list of optimal, in-moderation, and non-optimal foods. This is not a diet that works for everyone, this is the diet that works for you!

Your List of Food Evolves as You Do!

My Healing Body is a reading of around 500 primarily whole foods. It includes a reading for three periods in our lives: Reset, Lifestyle, and Sustainable Lifestyle.* The Reset contains those foods that will assist you resetting to your body’s optimal performance to begin (often, this is also a cleanse! It can also help to reduce or relieve dependence on supplements or medications). This period of time will vary from 1-6 months. You’ll receive your Lifestyle list in the initial reading as well for when your Reset is over. You will also receive an updated reading after 6 months, or in the time that is appropriate for you, if your body requires changes to settle you more deeply into a sustainable lifestyle of ease and thriving!

Replace/Enhance the Heavy Chemical Contributors

My Healing Body reading also includes highlighted Mondo Healing Foods.

Whatever you eat daily or often is a big chemical contributor to your makeup: might be coffee, oats, bread, herbal tea, alcohol, dairy, etc. Your body is using these foods, and sometimes trying to “work around” a chemical imbalance that they may be giving you. These imbalances can manifest in a variety of ways, from lack of sleep to anxiety to lack of appetite to weight gain.

With a list of around 500 foods, it can be challenging to know where to start! So we ask your body, which are my new “heavy hitters”? What does your body want as primary chemical ingredients to re-stabilize and rebuild you? These are the foods you can place and KEEP on your new grocery list and start giving your body what it really needs!

You are Meant to Eat as Uniquely as You Are!

What Works for A Group Study May Not Work for You

Diets based on science and Western medicine are formulated from a large sample group. This means that within every group there are outliers, and what works for the majority may or may not work for you. It is also impossible to take into consideration the individual body chemistry of every study participant. The way each body reacts to and assimilates a food or substance is unique.

This is why we are connecting with your body directly. It is the most brilliant chemist that you know. It knows how it is extracting nutrients and creating the chemical compounds that you live with/as every day.

My Healing Body is a reading based on the intention of sustainable thriving. It is not measuring what you are allergic or sensitive to with your current diet (though it will reveal what you’re allergic and sensitive to while eating optimally for your body). It is not asking for foods that you continue to eat out of habit, lifestyle, or for emotional comfort. It is a reading on what your body would prefer to eat, and which foods it needs to create regeneration to the best of its ability!

My Healing Body is simply allowing the body to do what it’s good at, and eat the foods it needs to stay balanced, healthy and thriving.

For this healing to occur, it takes commitment and willingness to listen to your body. Even if your body is asking for foods that contradict what you’ve read about or been told by another; this wisdom is originating from you.

Your Body Acts with Earth Intelligence

We are as diverse as people as the Earth herself, hosting her multitudes of species. Just as the plants and animals house an ecological intelligence to work together in symbiosis and clever relationship, so do our bodies possess this intelligence. Certain foods work naturally and easily in your body, and therefore you participate in the sustainability of the planet by doing your part. As predator keeps a certain prey in check, and a grazer keeps a plant from overtaking an environment, your selection of food matters. It’s unique to your body. If we all ate the same thing (kale included!), we would perpetuate imbalance and deplete the planet of her resources more than we already have. This means your body may prefer meat, bread, fish, or just plants–it depends on what your cells desire to function at their best.

My Healing Body is in alignment with the Earth’s intelligence, that intelligence far exceeding anything the human mind can currently conceive.

The most exciting part about this lifestyle is that you come to understand the Earth’s intelligence and that you are a vital part of it. As you deepen your relationship with food, you merge with its qualities and gifts. Sprouts sing of vibrant spring energy, local eggs are gifts of hens and caretakers that love their chickens, the bacon from a farm-raised hog speaks further of family and an ability to make dense proteins and fats from scraps, and autumn-harvested kale offers resilient and fortified energy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are supplements included in the list of foods?

Not exactly. The list of food and herbs is pretty comprehensive, and if something that is food-based (i.e. organ meats vs iron supplement) is not in the list, please feel free to contact us and we will add it.

Because My Healing Body is using intelligent chemistry to create the proteins, animo-acids and new cells that you need to regenerate, you may need more of a certain food or less of a supplement, or no supplement at all. You can indicate on your registration form any supplements that you currently take or are curious about and we’ll see what your body says!

I currently take medication for my condition(s). Will this interfere with the medication(s)?

Like the supplements, please include any medication you are on in the registration form. It may very well be that after the Reset and you’re well into your Lifestyle diet, you may no longer be in need of the medication. You’ll get a response on the medication as to whether your body considers it optimal, needed in-moderation, or non-optimal.

Again, we encourage you to consult your doctor for any medical advice and to inform them of your change in diet and ways that you are experiencing healing. We believe that you and your body are the only true expert on your health and wellness.

Will I lose weight with My Healing Body?

If you are currently overweight (meaning you have more weight on your body that is natural to YOUR body), then yes, most likely you will lose weight. For those that are serious about their healing and change of lifestyle, this can sometimes happen quickly. Often, if you are making a big change (i.e. gluten-free or sugar-free or vegan), you will naturally lose weight as the body rebuilds itself.

An example of this is Randi losing about 30lbs quickly when she first began My Healing Body, and then gaining about 20lbs back once her body had stabilized after the initial regenerative phase. Many years later when Randi did an updated reading, she became fully vegan, and again experienced rapid weight loss, returning to her natural weight a few months later after the body rebuilt itself using only plant proteins instead of that of the seafood she ate previously.

Body weight has been stigmatized in our culture, and we are just now healing as a society in terms of loving and accepting our bodies as they are naturally. Part of the support in this process is the therapeutic work of releasing those psychological traumas we may have experienced around our weight. Your natural body weight will be unique to you, and should not be compared to any number or other person, or even to another time in your life!

I’d like to get My Healing Body readings done for my friends, family and/or children. Is this possible?

Yes. However, we require consent from each individual in order to be able to do the reading (free-will is important!). Please speak to this person at length about your experience and ensure their willingness before gifting them My Healing Body–after all, they are responsible for their healing, and you are responsible only for yours!

If you’d like the reading done for your teenager, again, their consent and willingness is important. The EarthHeart Healing Community is welcoming of them, and/or we encourage you to support them in the holistic healing process (movement, mind, emotions, trauma–which may very well include you as a parent!). If you’d like My Healing Body for a younger child and they are able to say yes to “trying out some new foods,” that should be sufficient consent to do the reading.

In general, we find that children are intuitively choosing what their bodies need. We also understand that culturally–with processed, fast foods and high salt and sugar-content–they are adopting a diet that is detrimental to their wellbeing and often addictions and imbalances result. My Healing Body can help to discern between a child’s “choosiness” for their health or out of conditioned habit.

If the reading is not possible because a child is resisting it (for any number of reasons), we will know and will refund your money. For very young children who cannot speak for themselves, we can do a “check in” before you purchase the reading to ensure their bodies are consenting.

Again, a list of foods is only the beginning of healing. Active participation in your healing and extending that to your family is your responsibility, especially for younger children who are learning from you everyday!

Can I do this while I’m pregnant and/or breastfeeding?

Certainly! We know that pregnant women will often intuitively crave what their baby and body needs to support that life. Please indicate on the registration form that you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. It may mean that your Reset phase is longer to account for your body’s care of another, and that your Lifestyle list will reflect what your body needs to regenerate for your self care.

If you are trying to get pregnant or intending to have more children soon, please also indicate this on the registration form. It may be that your body desires certain foods for this special time in your life. Your Sustainable Lifestyle list will happen when you’re ready to shift the focus to what’s optimal for you.

Please include any pregnancy supplements or herbs that you are taking. Consulting and sharing with your doctor and/or dula/midwife is recommended!

What if there are foods or ways I eat for religious or ethical reasons? Will I need to change them?

If you receive your list of food and your body indicates an optimal food that you don’t currently eat for special reasons, we will certainly discuss it in your consultation. Healing is certainly not black and white!

An example of this is that the My Healing Body reading for someone who was practicing veganism included meat. In working with the body and healing process, it came to light that this person needed to be accepting of–and grounded in–herself. Eating meat was a way to heal the subtle practice of hiding (reflected by “hiding behind veganism”) or fearing those parts of herself she didn’t want to look at, as well as getting the nutrients specific to her body’s regenerative needs.

Ultimately, this is your journey and you are the one who fuels your body–there is no judgement or coercion in this program!
